I have just released my latest plugin to the wordpress.org repository. The plugin is a pricing table plugin, and yes I know there are hundreds, if not thousands of pricing tables out there, but I wanted something simple with a clean responsive style that went well with the modern looking Genesis themes I prefer.
Originally I though about calling it Pricing Table for Genesis, but there is nothing Genesis specific about this pricing table plugin, so I feel it should work multi theme.
I have built it in a way that I can extend it as a freemium plugin, after all this isn’t a hobby, so i have used the Freemius framework. This also allows me to be able to market the plugin ( when I add some paid features ) using the affiliate programme built in.
I also wanted to make sure that the plugin was developer friendly, so I have used a template system ( thank you Gary Jones – https://github.com/GaryJones/Gamajo-Template-Loader ) so the structural layout can be overridden if required – of course the styling can also be managed through CSS.
To keep things clean, the plugin uses a Custom Post Type for each table and then meta boxes for the columns ( the meta boxes being driven by CMB2 – https://github.com/CMB2/CMB2 ) this means that you can have any number of different pricing tables with different number of columns.
If you have ideas of extension for this plugin why not use the wordpress support form here https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/fullworks-pricing-tables
