Fullworks started as a business in 2010 and it has been through a few name changes and direction changes since.
Initially it was started as an Adwords agency, under the name Roibot, but fairly quickly became absorbed in building websites for local businesses and WordPress was the selected platform. Renamed Llocally ( as the domain name Locally wan’t available ) the Adwords work was dropped and focus was on low cost / high volume WordPress websites. Eventually the domain Locally.co.uk became available, so we renamed to Locally Digital and carried on building bigger and better WordPress websites.
By 2015, we were struggling with getting the growth we wanted ad the competition at the low end for WordPress had grown exponentially, so another change of direction, this time into ‘cloud consulting’ and ‘cloud solutions’, renamed Fullworks Digital to have a more generic brand. As a long term fan of Google Apps for Business ( later G Suite ) it was natural to become Google Cloud Partner, but by mid 2016 having not achieved the desired growth, my business partner & son exited the business leaving me to run the business supporting the existing clients.
Supporting the existing clients by myself is working out fine, however over the year a decision was need as to what the business should focus. Tracking back to my personal skills, which are very technical and not a salesperson and the competition for website building, I made the decision to focus new efforts on developing plugins.
It has been quite a journey of discovery and I hope this initiative is one that will grow over time.
